2021 Annual City of Winnipeg Bicycle Auction #NotFree

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s unclaimed bicycle auction will be held online. Last year, approximately 700 unclaimed bikes was available for purchase. However, it is not known how many bikes will be available for auction. Online bidding will take place beginning Wednesday, April 28, 2021, 8:00 AM to Wednesday, May 5, 2021, 2 PM.
The City of Winnipeg will provide a full listing of bikes and provide all descriptions that will be used when posting the bikes online. Descriptions will include any damages to the bikes and correspond with the pictures provided. A complete list of bikes will be available for viewing online soon. Purchased bicycles will be available Pick up of Bicycles will be available from May 7-14, 2021 during normal business hours at 7130 Roblin Blvd. Customers are reminded to adhere to social distancing guidelines provided at the site when picking up their bikes and to remain in their vehicle until a service representative becomes available. MasterCard, Visa, e-transfers, cash, and Interac payments will be accepted.

Bicycle Registration
All bikes at auction will be pre-registered in the city’s bike registry. The registration fee of $6.88 will be added to the purchase price of the bike (children’s bikes not included).
