Nunavut turns 20!
July 6, 2019 @ 12:30 pm-4:30 pm
For the first time ever, Inuit will be celebrating Nunavut Day in Winnipeg, Manitoba!!
Nunavut is turning 20 this year, it’s on July 9th BUT we will be celebrating earlier just so we can accommodate everyone to come on a Saturday rather than Tuesday.
It will be held at Vimy Ridge Park (821 Preston Ave) it’s walking distance from the Kivalliq Inuit Centre. We’ll be there from 12:30 til 4:30 so maark your calendar!
Bring your family and friends, we’ll have a barbecue, games and prizes, Inuit tattooing (non permanent), a photo booth, and a draw at the end.
There’s also a splash pad, feel free to bring your bathing suits/towels.
Please hit the “going” button so we know how many people to expect 🙂
If you have any questions, feel free to e-mail Maxine at [email protected] or phone 204 416 8910 or send a message via Facebook.
