Award-winning social media marketer Keith Tomasek shares best practices for creating social media campaigns that build loyal audiences and sell your services to them.

Keith Tomasek is an award-winning arts marketing consultant. His Facebook campaign for the Grand Theatre won the International Association of Business Communicators’ Virtuoso Award.

In the final six weeks of 2020, Keith’s marketing campaigns sold over $400,000 worth of tickets to virtual events.

He brings various skills to his work, including everything he learned producing television at CTV and CBC and his academic background that includes a Master of Arts in Mass Communication.

At the age of 17, Tomasek first performed on Yuk Yuks’ Montreal stage. A few years later, he ran the soundboard at The Comedy Works. Upon relocating to Ottawa, Tomasek managed the box office for Howard Wagman’s Yuk Yuks.

More recently, he’s produced shows with Ron James, DeAnne Smith and The Arrogant Worms.

He’s also the host of “The Performers Podcast,” Canada’s longest-running podcast on the arts, which in 2018 won the “Best Cultural Series” award at the Canadian Podcasting Awards.
