Public Skating is back at Dakota Community Centre! There is no cost to attend these hour long skating sessions. Bring the family or some friends and skate away! RULES & INFORMATION

  • All participants must wear skates while on the ice surface. Those without skates will not be permitted on the ice surface.
  • No scrimmages, shinny, or games of tag allowed during public skating.
  • Helmets MUST be worn for those aged 16 and under on the public skating rink.
  • Dakota Community Centre reserves the right to limit the number of people on the ice at any given time.
  • Inappropriate behaviour, language and/or unsafe activities will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the ice.
In addition to adhering to provincial health regulations related to limiting the transmission of COVID-19, there are additional terms and conditions that must be followed in order to participate in Public Skating at Dakota Community Centre. Please visit our COVID-19 Safety Measures & Policies page for more information by clicking the button on the right.

Click the blue button to reserve your spot online. There is no charge for this event but space is limited.

Proof of immunization must be shown prior to entering Dakota Community Centre. Effective December 6, 2021, youth aged 12-17 will be required to show proof of at least one vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test (72 hours). For more information, please visit our website.
