Free Event: Debut Screening – 150 Years in the Making
October 10 @ 7:00 pm-8:30 pm
We are excited and pleased to invite you to a special celebration of an event 150 years in the making!
The FREE special screening debut of a new documentary captures the journey, led by CIER, of our own Mayors and Reeves of the Winnipeg METRO Region and Chiefs of the Southern Chiefs’ Organization, as they worked over the last two years to build a foundation of trust and tackle the challenges of Collaborative Leaderships.
Take a peak behind the scenes of a process that on March 1, 2019 culminated in a formal signing of a M.O.U between the Chiefs, Mayors and Reeves as they cemented their commitment to each other.
This short documentary was filmed by award-winning international filmmakers Denis Paquette and Carmen Henriquez, from RealWorld Media Inc., known for such docu-series’ and features as Native Planet, Face the Music, and Cry of the Andes.
Tickets to attend the film screening are free!
If you wish to make a donation all proceeds will be going to the Bruce Oake Recovery Centre.
There are limited tickets available, so sign up to secure your ticket to this free event!
