February is “I Love to Read Month”, a month-long celebration to share in the joy of literacy! Cozy up with the whole family and tune in to our Facebook live readings of culturally diverse stories hosted by members of the Folklorama family all month long!

Anansi (which means spider) is a folktale character that takes the shape of a spider and is sometimes considered to be a god of all knowledge of stories. Taking the role of trickster, he is also one of the most important characters of Caribbean folklore!

We invite you to join Donovan’s live reading of “Tales of Anansi the Spider” this Sunday, February 14th at 4pm on our Facebook page!

Stay tuned for more live readings this month!
