On Saturday June 18, APTN is hosting Indigenous Day Live (IDL), a free event open to the public, at the Forks (1 Forks Market Road) in Winnipeg for the first in-person celebration since 2019. For those who cannot attend in person, the show will broadcast on all APTN channels, APTN’s YouTube channel and participating Indigenous radio stations on the day of the event and again on all APTN channels and APTN lumi June 21 for National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Traditionally a music concert, this year APTN is shaking it up. Through cultural and musical performances, the event showcases Indigenous artists and features multidisciplinary collaborations in English, French and a variety of Indigenous languages.
