Learn the story of hydroelectric development in Manitoba from 1870 to today. This unique experiential museum guides visitors through the safe and efficient use of electricity and demonstrates how electrical energy works.

The Manitoba Electrical Museum follows the history of Manitoba’s electricity through six themes from the 1870s to the present and looks into the future. On the lower level, hands-on safety activities and seasonal displays are featured. Electricity and electrical safety movies can be shown in the orientation room on the lower level.
