Red River College’s After School Leaders – Culinary Arts tuition-free online program is looking for aspiring culinary artists aged 14-19 that want to take a peek inside the exciting culinary world.
Students will learn culinary basics, menu planning, recipes, and the techniques used by top chefs. The program inspires youth and prepares them for the working world ahead.
At the end of this program, students will have:
- WHMIS training
- Food Handler’s exam
- Basic introduction to culinary terminology and technique
- Skills to follow recipes
- Fluency in measurements
- Basic knife skills Online classes begin April 6 and run until June 22.
