Free Things to Do in Winnipeg This Weekend June 2-4

Here’s a list of free things to do in Winnipeg this weekend, May 26 -28.  A list of free weekend events is posted every Thursday at approximately 7:00 PM.  

If you are planning to go to an event, please click on its header and read the information carefully.  Check if it needs RSVP or registration.  Some events may be free but are donation based which means a donation is expected.  However, donations are mostly at minimal costs.  Events that have “no cover” means free entry but food and drinks are extra.

In Downtown:


 

1. First Fridays @ The Exchange

Come down and talk to artists in their studios, experience an Art Gallery opening or craft exhibit and explore the area’s unique shops and restaurants

 


 

2. First Fridays:  Alleyways Market in the Exchange

One part farmers’ market, one part maker pop-up and one part design exhibition.

Getting ready for Pride, having open crafting and helping support the UWinnipeg making seed bombs for their float. 


 

4. Pride Festival at The Forks

With the huge success of last year’s expanded Pride Festival at the Forks, the festival will once again be a two-day event!.

A wide variety of music with members ranging in age from 18 to 85 from all walks of life.


  1. Makers Market @ Union Station

Free admission.  A collective of over 40 amazing local Etsy Shops in the beautiful and historic Via Rail’s Union Station building. 


 

7. Pride Winnipeg 30th Anniversary Parade

June 4, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

@ Manitoba Legislative Building to The Forks

Begins at Memorial Park across from the Legislature and pass through Portage and Main before ending at the Forks!
